Dribbles," has been named an official selection of the 2008 Woods Hole Film Festival to be held July 26 through August 2 in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
The Woods Hole Film Festival, now in its 17th year, is dedicated to presenting the best in independent film from emerging filmmakers. This year, the festival will screen over 100 films from around world in the quaint seaside village on Cape Cod.
In addition to its scenic, summertime locale, the Woods Hole Film Festival has a reputation for a high level of filmmaker and audience interaction along with innovative screening venues and special programs. This year, the festival will continue its "Project Green Screen" program which features the presentation of films in outdoor waterfront venues powered by renewable energy.
The festival will also continue its association with Boston-based PBS station WGBH, which will broadcast selections from the festival as a part of the station's "Indie Select" program. Special guests attending this year's festival include Jim Uhls, screenwriter of "Fight Club" and the 2008 box-office success, "Jumper". The Woods Hole Film Festival also runs numerous film-related community outreach programs throughout the year.
