Dribbles Premiere Thanks!
9/30/2007
Thanks so much for everyone who came out to support “Dribbles” at the premiere last night! The evening was wonderful and we greatly appreciate the kind words from everyone.
An extra special thanks to Bob Shea, Joe Deleault, and the rest of the staff at the Dana Center of Saint Anselm College. We could not have hoped for a better venue for the premiere.
We owe a great debt of gratitude to Bob, especially. Bob was there from the beginning; helping us with casting (and what a cast!), turning in a moving performance as our title character, and helping us secure the beautiful venue for the premiere. Thank you Bob!
Many of you may have noticed the posters for some the exciting events coming up during the 2007/2008 season at the Dana Center. If you did not take a program guide, be sure to visit the Dana Center web site (http://www.anselm.edu/dana) so that you can take full advantage of this cultural treasure in the heart of New Hampshire.
Of special interest this season, are two productions staged by Bob’s performing arts company, New Art Theatre (http://www.newarttheatre.org). “Antigone” (http://www.anselm.edu/dana/events/antigone.htm) runs November 8, and “A Child’s Christmas in Whales” (http://www.anselm.edu/dana/events/robinspielberg.htm) runs November 30. Be sure not to miss these special performances!
Another big thank you goes out to Bruce (http://www.myspace.com/brucesimonds) & Lisa, the entire Locke family, Hjelm family, Simonds family, Diamond family, and our student helpers without whose hard work neither the film nor the premiere would have been possible.
Also, a thank you to Alyssa Van Guilder of Apotheca Flower Shoppe & Tea Chest in Goffstown (http://www.apothecaflowershoppe.com/) for her elegant floral arrangement. It helped make the evening all the more special!
Until next time,
-Tom & Heidi
